How to use Pineapple Eye Remover Tools
Ingredients
- 1 ripe pineapple
- single-eye remover cutter tool
- eye strip remover peeler tool
Instructions
- Slice the base of the pineapple.
- Slice away the outside peel of the pineapple thin enough to just barely remove the outer rind and barely touching the pineapple eyes. Don’t cut too deep into the pineapple to where there are no eyes left. Then you won’t even need to use the tools but you’ve wasted some tasty pineapple flesh by cutting too deep.
- Lay the peeled pineapple on the side. Firmly hold the green stems and get ready to remove the eyes.
- For the single-eye remover tool: press the tool into each pineapple eye and press the tool to pinch the pineapple eye. Then pull the eye out. Repeat for all the eyes!
- For the eye strip remover tool: Start from the top or bottom of the pineapple and gently press the eye strip tool into the first pineapple eye in a diagonal row.. Gently push the eye stripper forward along one line or strip of eyes.
- Cut the cleaned pineapple to whatever shape or size you want. Remember to remove the firm inner core.
I’ve never even heard of this tool until you introduced it here. I just had to get it right away. It just made everything so easy. Really great suggestion.
