Meet our new joy! Baby girl puppy Lexi “Peanut” !!
Lexi says “Hello Friends!!!”. She’s probably going to be a little confused at all this blogging world, but hopefully you all can re-assure here that you’re all a group of super nice folks who will welcome her to the blog with open arms!
Meet Lexi, our itsy-bity-tiny cute-sy Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, aka “Peanut”.
Her nickname given to her by her breeders is “Peanut” because she is the runt of the litter of 11 puppies. Lexi “Peanut” is almost nine weeks old now, but when she was born she came in at only 5 oz. Super tiny for a ridgie puppy. She barely even made it in this world, but she has the spirit and heart of a ridgeback and is now charging through life fearlessly. And with lots of love, care and attention from the great breeders, she’s now ours to take home and to love to bits and pieces!
Though Lexi is only nine pounds, she still holds up to her own. She loves to play and explore the backyard garden with curious puppy eyes. Lexi and Sierra have bonded quite quickly and their sisterhood began as soon as they started sharing toys and beds.
As you all can tell, we’re super happy to have our two-dog family back together again since we lost Dante last year. Our little family feels complete again.
So expect many puppy pictures over the next few weeks!! months!! or even years!!
hugs,

Sierra and Lexi became quick friends
They can share outdoor beds for now, but we’ll have to get a new one soon!

Soooo precious!
What a great picture of Sierra and Peanut on the outdoor bed – the size difference is so sweet. We once had a half Rhodesian-something else dog, the best one ever. All the best to you and your dogs.
Oh my goodness! She is precious. You betcha I welcome her with open arms…just be glad these arms are in NC;). I love her left “milk” leg that matches Sierra’s coat.
Aw! I had a part-Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy for a little bit, and seeing one just makes my heart swell up.
Have fun with her! They’re such energetic dogs! 🙂
Awwww… I <3 both your boxers. I have two as well. My white one looks just like yours. My other is brindle. Not only do you love food, but boxers. I am sold!!!!
My 11 mo. old pit/boxer mix is named Lexi! I first gravitated to her because of her adorable wrinkled forehead. All I can say is you have great taste!
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH sooooo cute!!! look at her paws, she’s gonna get sooooo big!
Our itty baby puppy dog, Zach the Ridgeback, died recently of old age. He was 150 lbs of muscle. His brother, Mowgli – the little one at 105 lbs, misses him so much. Lexi is a lucky puppy, but I think you are the super lucky ones. Congrats..
She is so adorable. Love the last photo of the two of them together. Congratulations on your new addition and look forward to watching her grow up.
OMG how precious!!!!
My 17 year old Rodesian Ridgeback just passed away. She was the gentlest, loving dog… She never bit or snapped, the cats would sleep in between her paws.
Mazel tov on your new addition <3
