Creamy Avocado Parmesan Dip or Dressing

Avocado sizes will vary, which will result in different thicknesses of the dip/dressing. Just play it by eat and to taste with adding a little bit of water at a time until you get the consistency you want for how you want to eat it. Enjoy!


For the dressing

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 medium avocado , peeled, seeded and cut into chunks
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt , or to taste
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

For the Salad:

  • Your favorite greens
  • Tomatoes , carrots, cucumbers, etc…
  • Croutons
  • parmesan shavings
  • black pepper , to taste
  • lime wedges (optional)


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender (oil, water, mayonnaise, avocado, lime zest, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, black pepper, salt, parmesan, sugar, and chili flakes) until everything is smooth.
  2. Adjust to your preferred consistency if needed by adding a little bit of water at a time.
  3. Add to to your favorite salad greens and all your favorite salad toppings.
