Happy Lunar New Year 2011!

It’s the year of the Rabbit/Cat 2011 ! Happy Lunar New Year to you all from San Francisco.

Roaming the streets of Chinatown, San Francisco it’s hard not to get into the spirit of Lunar New Year. Vibrant mandarins, other citrus fruits and flowers line the congested streets of Chinatown. The energy is festive, vibrant and exciting. No one seems to mind shopping elbow-to-elbow with one another as they fill their arms with fruit trees and New Years goods.

We’re wishing you all a fabulous and memorable 2011. May this year fill you with peace, more time with loved ones and of course, great foods.

May all your wishes come true,

– Todd and Diane

Your photos are beautiful, they have such personality – you are truly talented. I loved SF when I visited a few years back, and I’d love to go again.

This is how Chinese New Year is celebrated in Sydney, Australia. Enjoy!

I love the vibrancy of your photos…I feel like I’m back walking the streets on San Francisco right now. I did my undergrad at the Conservatory of Music, and miss the city…I always looked forward to the New Year and the sunny satsumas in the midst of grey foggy February streets.

    Happy New Year!
