What were eating today – schweets

We’ve been eating and photographing lots of sweets for a new cookbook by @NinaMW . Here are some behind the scenes looks of the subjects.

Nina makes the most terrific sweets and we’re happy kids all over again. We don’t ever want to grow up! Seriously, being a kid eating all the candy your stomach can handle is a dream come true!

How funny, I blogged about candied apples this week too! They are fall’s gift to the sweet tooth, aren’t they? And you’ve captured them so well. I can’t wait to see the book!

My boys are begging me to make these apples! I suspect they are secretly planning on using those sticks as light sabers…

Oh gosh I saw the snippet of this and thought I was going to get my hands on a great candied apple recipe. Oh well, guess this just gives me a reason to buy the cookbook when it comes out?

Oh my gosh, those candy apples look so ludicrously delicious! Great photo. I’m basically drooling at my desk and I’m pretty sure that it is socially unacceptable to drool at work or anywhere else for that matter.

Those candied apples are beautiful! I love the imperfect look of one of them tipping over. I’m looking forward to this cookbook!
