The California Avocado Commission recently had a guacamole contest and we were one of the lucky judges on their panel of 6 judges, which included 2 growers, 2 representatives from the commission. Tasting 6 different guacamole recipes was »

January 19, 2010
food blogger camp

Food bloggers are a force to be reckoned with in more ways than we could have ever imagined. In just two years of writing, photographing and sharing our lives with all of you from around the world, the impact of all your friendship, support and community has been one of the things we hold closest to our hearts.

Thumbnail image for Good Bite- Internet Food Show featuring Food bloggers

The “secret” is finally out! There’s been a mean tease of secrets and a string of underground comments over Twitter about a super secret project involving some food bloggers. For those of you who are on the edge of your seat, wait no longer. Believe us, it’s been hard for everyone involved in the show to try to keep our MOUTHS SHUT! Video #15 – Club Med Food & Wine Blogger Bash & many pics!

April 5, 2009
Club Med Columbus Isle Bahamas

Clearly, Todd and I don’t have tons of free time on hand, but the thrill of my week at Club Med and the gazillions of pictures and video clips forced us to free up some time. Making a video isn’t exactly a quickie project that we can do in front of the TV. A video will take us hours (tens) to complete because adding pictures, sound effects, transitions and movement suck up so much time. Honestly, learning how to use Final Cut Studio Pro is like learning to walk again, with plenty of frustrations, stumbles and falls. So venturing into »

Hah! This video is in response to some of you who question if we really had a party of 70 people this last Saturday! Yeah, we cooked it all and we actually had lots of people over who ate almost all the food! Being that there’s a cloud of doubt because we didn’t provide pictures of the guests, just the food, we decided to put this video together as the PROOF!

We also threw this video together to share with all those who attended the party and wanted to see some of the little footage that we were able to »
